Ce qui change dans Libretto – en bref, sans jargon technique.

Notes de version

v0.1.0 2026-07-26

  • Track your whole fleet with full Swiss vehicle data — VIN, Fahrzeugausweis details, per-profile separation, and optional sharing between profiles.
  • Add a car in seconds: scan its Fahrzeugausweis, or just type its type-approval number (Typengenehmigung) or VIN and Libretto looks up the make, model and technical specs for you — with make and model autocomplete as you type.
  • See the true cost of ownership per kilometre and per day, inflation-adjusted, and rank your cars against each other.
  • Model depreciation and resale value (EV-aware), including the resale loss from accidents or damage (Wertminderung) and the imputed capital cost of the money tied up in the car.
  • See where the money and the wear go: visual cost breakdowns and spend-by-system, cost and consumption over time with seasonal trends, depreciation and tracked-value curves, an ownership timeline, and a benchmark band against comparable cars.
  • Track energy and fuel for petrol, diesel, electric and plug-in hybrid — self-calibrating from your real fill-ups and charge mix. For electric cars, log battery state-of-health readings and watch the degradation trend.
  • Keep a running journal of expenses, service and repairs, with cost categories and recurring fixed costs. Entries that don't count toward your costs — history that came with the car, or something dated outside the time you owned it — are shown greyed out with the reason, and the journal totals say how much of what you see is actually counted.
  • Get one service history, however you recorded it: services you logged by hand appear in the digital Serviceheft alongside scanned booklet stamps, and the "gap-free?" assessment takes both into account. Every entry says how it is backed — a garage's stamp, a kept invoice, or your own note.
  • Log maintenance from a catalog of common jobs with structured "what was done" tags, and track wear items like tyres — per-set age, tread depth and a replacement-due signal.
  • On the hosted version, hand over the complete digital Serviceheft when you sell: a one-time transfer link carries the car's identity, service and booklet history, battery and damage records, invoices and photos to the new owner — and a later buyback folds an intervening owner's history back in.
  • Keep a Fahrtenbuch (trip log): record a trip with one tap and let Libretto log the distance — by odometer, by tapping GPS at each stop, or with live GPS tracking — then auto-classify it as business, private or commute from your work hours and saved places. Optionally keep a map of the route, or point at your own OSRM server for road-accurate distances.
  • Bill mileage to clients: mark trips billable at your own rate (e.g. 70 Rp/km) and generate a per-client km statement (Spesenabrechnung) as a PDF.
  • Scan invoices, service booklets and the Fahrzeugausweis with OCR — including multi-page PDFs — to fill in entries automatically.
  • Keep every document in one place — the Fahrzeugausweis, invoices, service booklets, insurance and vignette — viewable in the app and attached to the right car; expiry dates (insurance, vignette) turn into reminders, and an offline glovebox keeps them reachable without a connection.
  • On the hosted version, keep track of your remaining OCR scans, get a clear upgrade or top-up prompt when you run out, and never overspend your allowance on a large multi-page PDF.
  • On the hosted version, a generous free allowance for your uploaded photos and documents, with a clear upgrade prompt (never a silent failure) if you reach it.
  • Get reminders for MFK, the Abgaswartung (Swiss emissions service), service intervals and recurring payments, tuned to how much you actually drive. The Abgaswartung reminder follows the 2-year (or yearly, for older petrol cars) cadence, switches itself on for pre-1999 cars, and stays quiet for electric cars or those exempt via OBD.
  • Show off your collection on an optional, read-only public page at your own personal link — you pick which cars appear, and prices, mileage and personal details stay hidden. Shared links get a rich preview image, and each car can carry its own public write-up. On the hosted version, claim a personal handle, follow other people's garages, and get a live feed of what they add.
  • Earn Auszeichnungen for ownership milestones — a per-car badge strip and a trophy case, with a small celebration when you unlock one and the rarer badges shown on your public garage.
  • Create shareable cards — story-format images of a car, its costs, your whole garage, or a head-to-head comparison of two cars — ready for your phone's share sheet.
  • Export a PDF: a maintenance and TCO report, or — for collectors — an appraisal dossier with the value and provenance history and an originality certificate (Originalitätsbeleg).
  • Collector and enthusiast extras: a factory spec sheet (Werksdatenblatt) as an in-app tab and a printable A4 certificate, rarity signals (Collectible, Uncommon, Preserved) from survival and production data, and a rarity-aware value and CHF/km estimate.
  • Import existing records from CSV and Tankbuch files.
  • Start with guided onboarding to your first CHF/km figure, plus a plain-language explanation of what drives each car's costs.
  • Use it on your phone as an installable app (PWA), with a one-tap capture button to snap a photo or scan on the go.
  • Use Libretto in German, French, Italian or English, with Swiss number and date formatting.
  • Sign in with a password or a passkey.
  • Export all your data at any time, or delete your account and everything in it.
  • Optional AI features are clearly labelled and can be turned off.
  • Run it as a single self-hosted binary with a Windows tray app, built-in backups, and update notifications — or use the hosted version.
